Horizon Consulting Group (HCG), an Ivorian strategy and organizational consulting firm, Unisia LLC and SoftForge Labs today announced a partnership to develop the “HCG Companion,” an artificial-intelligence companion trained on HCG’s methods, tools and field experience. The partners share one conviction: the most useful AI for organizations is grounded in trusted know-how passed on by recognized experts.
Three complementary areas of expertise, one shared ambition
The HCG Companion builds on HCG’s methods and field experience in organizational diagnostics, human resources, management and career development. It aims to put these resources to work in digital guidance tailored to the needs of organizations in Côte d’Ivoire and, over time, in other African markets as the collaboration grows.
HCG will contribute the design of the offering, its business content and human guidance. Unisia will provide its AI companion platform, its Expert Companion Modeler and its operating capabilities. SoftForge Labs will bring its engineering expertise to the configuration, integration and evaluation of the solution. Together, the partners will define the supervision, quality and deployment arrangements suited to each use case.
A lasting collaboration, beyond a first project
The HCG Companion is the first step in a collaboration set to extend to other areas of expertise, other organizations and other African markets. An initial deployment with selected users will fine-tune the solution to real-world conditions.
A steering committee bringing together all three partners will guide the offering as it evolves.
Innovation that serves people and earns trust
The HCG Companion is designed as a tool for reflection and knowledge transfer that complements the work of professionals. It is not intended to make medical or psychological diagnoses or to replace human expertise. The partners also intend to rule out any use for disciplinary measures against employees.
The partners will build data protection and security in by design. Before using any real personal data, the partners will define hosting arrangements, their respective responsibilities, and applicable compliance measures, particularly under Ivorian law.
